The problem
Every college formats its aid letter differently, and many list loans under "aid." The school that looks most generous can end up costing the most. Students in my grade will open these letters soon, and most of us won't know how to read them.
The idea
Type in the numbers from each letter. ClearAid sorts the money into grants you keep, work-study you earn, and loans you pay back, then shows the real yearly price side by side.
What it calculates
Net price after grants, total debt over four years, and an estimated monthly loan payment after graduation. Everything stays on the student's own device.
